Our journey started with the launch of Anahita in October 2005 in Hout Bay, South Africa. We then spent six months in South Africa, mainly working on the boat and cruising a little bit. In April we sailed off to Brazil via St. Helena Island. Here, we visited the Baia de Todos os Santos (Salvador) and the North-Eastern coast. After a long journey with stops in French Guiana and Suriname we arrived in the Caribbean in November 2006. For the next six months we cruised between Tobago and the BVI. In May 2007 we crossed again the Atlantic, this time from West to East.
