In South Africa, our journey starts. Anahita was built in Hout Bay from 2003 to 2005. From October to December 2005 we lived in the Hout Bay Yacht Club marina before sailing 70 miles North in January 2006. We then spent two months between Saldanha, Langebaan and Kraalbai. In March 2006 we returned to Hout Bay and Cape Town to get Anahita ready for the Atlantic crossing to Brazil. We departed from South Africa mid-April 2006.
